As we continue our journey through the prayer of Jabez, we come across a crucial matter that raises the following question: what is the real intention of our hearts when we communicate with God? True men of God such as Joshua, and David, for example, prefigures of the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ, had the same genuine motivation as did Jabez when he asked the Lord's hand to be with him.
